HOW IT WORKS
Purchase your tickets to the drawing
· Buy online through a secure link shared by email, text message, social media, or scanning QR codes at participating locations throughout South Dakota and the Black Hills region.
· Choose from multiple ticket bundle options designed for casual supporters and weekly players alike.
· Every ticket purchase receives a unique entry number generated by the raffle system.
· Your ticket numbers are automatically emailed to you and can also be viewed in your customer account dashboard.
· Every ticket purchased helps support the Black Hills Home Builders Community Foundation and its mission to strengthen local housing and community initiatives.
· Current jackpot totals, drawing updates, winner announcements, and event information will be updated on the official Black Hills Ace raffle page at Dakota Jackpots Black Hills Ace
Winning tickets are selected by our certified random draw system
· Each week, one winning ticket is selected from all eligible entries sold for that drawing period.
· Drawings may be conducted using our GLI-31 certified random number generator or through select live public drawings using a transparent physical drawing process.
· The selected ticket becomes the Weekly Prize Winner.
· If the Ace of Spades is selected, the winner receives the full progressive jackpot.
· If the Ace of Spades is not selected, the weekly winner still receives that week’s cash prize and the jackpot rolls forward to the next drawing.
· Each week a card is removed from play, improving the odds of finding the Ace as the game progresses.
The Rules
· Computer generated drawings occur automatically at the scheduled drawing date and time from our offices using a certified random number generator.
· Live drawing dates, times, locations, jackpot totals, and raffle updates will be posted on the organization’s Dakota Jackpots webpage and social media channels.
· Participants must provide:
·Legal first and last name matching a valid government-issued ID
·Valid phone number
·Valid email address
· Ticket numbers are issued only for the current week’s drawing unless otherwise stated.
· Winners are contacted using the phone number and email address provided during purchase.
· Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes. IRS forms may be issued when required by law.
· Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of purchase.
· All sales are final unless otherwise required by law.
· Void where prohibited.
Prize Payout
· One envelope or card position is randomly assigned to the weekly winning ticket.
· If the selected position contains the Ace of Spades, the full progressive jackpot is awarded.
· If the Ace is not found:
·The weekly winner receives 10% of that week’s ticket sales.
·The remaining 40% of ticket sales is added to the progressive jackpot for the following week.
· As cards are removed from play, the odds of selecting the Ace improve each week.
· Once the Ace is found, a new Chase the Ace game may begin with a reset jackpot and fresh board.
Live Drawing Experience
· Select drawings may feature a live public drawing event using dice, scoreboards, or other transparent physical drawing methods.
· Live drawings create an engaging community experience while maintaining transparency, fairness, and compliance.
· Supporters can watch the drawing process in person or through posted video updates and livestreams when available.
· Winning numbers, jackpot updates, drawing videos, and organization announcements may be posted online for public verification and supporter engagement.
· Whether using live drawings or certified computer selection, every entry has an equal opportunity to win.
